I guess we can't get away from exercising, no matter how much we try. It is imperative that we work those muscles. The benefits outweighs the initial pain of getting started. It takes three weeks to bring the coach habits, so get those sneakers out and use them:)
Just a reminder that exercising can be done in a million ways, even when shopping, we can speed up our pace and lose some calories. Isn't that a fun one? I tried that yesterday and I think it did work. Some benefits to remember :
(a) Mood uplifting- cardio workouts surges the level of mood enhancing neuro transmitters, such as serotonin.
(b) Great night sleep- yoga and other exercises helps relax us, and assist us to sleep sounder which aids the body process of restoration.
(c) Weight loss and maintenance- exercise aids in regulation of leptin (the fat hormone) this hormone controls appetite.
(d) Toning and firming - lifting weights helps us build muscle and build the tissue that is needed to say goodbye to gravity and sagging.
(e) Bloodsugar & blood pressure- exercise aids the control of both bloodsugar and blood pressure and even aids in lowering cholesterol.
