In my journey to a healthy and happier life, I am changing the way that I cook.Not only am I saving a few dollars, but I know what my family is eating. My family loves bread,so what’s better than homemade bread straight from the oven, so I made them homemade bread.Can you smell it? :) It only took an an hour and a half to two hours tops from start to finish. Only there was a little trick to the homemade bread. I made mixed the white flour with whole wheat flour, actually more whole wheat flour than white flour. This gives it the same great taste with only half the calories and we get some of the benefits from the whole wheat flour. I even catered more sensibly for me.
I made mine half the size for me, that way I can enjoy the same bread but in smaller portion. It helps me because I feel like I am eating a whole bread but only half the calories as if I had the full size that my family would eat, especially my husband who eats double my portion but don't gain an ounce. It is just not fair:(
